    The Helpline is a confidential information and support line for cannabis users and friends and family who are concerned about cannabis use by those close to them. They provide counselling, information and referrals and can link users to the most appropriate support services and resources. The Helpline is available from 11am – 7pm Monday to Friday (including public holidays).

Domestic Violence Shelters

    Short term accommodation for women and accompanying children who are homeless as a result of domestic and family violence and have low security support needs.

  • Sonshine Sanctuary Women’s Refuge – (07) 5476 2785
    Referrals to this service must come from the police, DV Connect, Lifeline, Salvation Army and other community organisations. Sonshine Sanctuary supports Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Women.

    Backpack Bed for Homeless provides emergency relief Backpack Beds to street sleeping homeless people without shelter.   The Backpack Bed is a crisis bed for people sleeping on the street while they await other housing solutions.
